Food for Clay County Can Food Drive at College Drive Food Truck Night

Join us for an evening of food, music, and community support at the College Drive Food Truck Night on June 23rd from 6-8 pm! As you enjoy the festivities, Food for Clay County volunteers will be on hand to collect non-perishable food items to distribute to those in need in our community.
Did you know that one out of eight people in Florida faces hunger? But you can make a difference! The Food for Clay County program provides healthy food choices to citizens of Clay County, distributing over 1200 boxes of food a month through multiple distribution sites and supporting local food pantries with requested needs. The program has also expanded its offerings to include partnerships with United Health Care and the Veteran Administration to assist veterans and individuals with getting the most out of their healthcare benefits.
Although the partnership between Feeding Northeast Florida and Route End provides between 35,000 to 50,000 lbs. of food each month, it’s still not enough to meet the needs of individuals, families, and food pantries in Clay County. That’s why your support is so important!
