CALMER CON

Calmer Con is a Comic Book and Pop Culture Convention specifically designed to meet the needs of those with sensory processing challenges, autism, and anxiety concerns. Calm Passion, a non-profit, was create to host these types of events and have been doing so for the past five years.  The Calm Passion team is looking forward to holding their first Calmer Con in beautiful Florida!

Calmer Con provides an authentic comic con experience, including costumed superhero, princess, and science fiction characters. There are the comic artists and vendors typically found at larger conventions, but presented in a more appropriate way.  There are also other great sensory adjusted activities like a Lego space, art area, character photo booth, and Jedi training!  There is also a staffed Calmer Space where attendees can relax, recharge, and reset before returning to the event to have more fun.

To help maintain sensory appropriate noise, crowd levels and social distancing guidelines, there are two separate sessions to choose from:

Morning Session: 9:00AM to 1:00PM
Afternoon Session: 2:00PM to 6:00PM
