Clay County Community Outreach Donation Drive

Join us in supporting Clay County Community Outreach, an incredible annual event that brings our community together! Hosted by The Springs Church, this free event is open to everyone in Clay County. It’s an opportunity for families and individuals to receive essential resources and services from various non-profit organizations. “We hope to bring community members to an event that provides information about our area as well as familiarizes them with the amazing agencies and services available in our community. And this includes some vital medical services such as mammogram screening. In addition, the Clay County Community Outreach is about kids having fun, providing backpacks for school, and having a picnic-type lunch, ” explains Maureen Lendzion of The Springs Church.

“Challenge Enterprises supports programs that give back to the community and has a history with The Spring Church’s Community Outreach program. Annually, Challenge Enterprises program sites collected and donated specific personal needs and other items for the Outreach Day,” share Nancy C. Keating, CEO of Challenge Enterprises.  This year, Challenge Enterprises is collecting hygiene items for hygiene kits. These kits will provide individuals in need with essential personal care products such as shampoo, combs, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, and more. We believe that everyone deserves access to basic hygiene items, and your contribution can make a significant difference in someone’s life.

If you’d like to help with this campaign, please consider donating any of the mentioned hygiene items. You can drop off your donated items at either of the following locations:

  1. 3530 Enterprise Way, Green Cove Springs
  2. 550 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park

Please ensure that your donations reach us no later than August 4th at noon. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families in Clay County. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated!

This event is open to everyone in the community. For those who have been regular attendees at the annual Community Outreach, keep in mind it will be held at the new Springs Church location at 900 Park Avenue in Orange Park.  Thank you for being a part of this community initiative. Let’s come together to create a stronger, more compassionate Clay County for all.
