October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), and all supporters of Challenge Enterprises are encouraged to participate. The purpose of NDEAM is to educate about inclusive employment issues and celebrate the many and varied contributions of America’s workers of all abilities.
Held annually, NDEAM is led by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy, but its true spirit lies in the many observances held at the grassroots level across the nation every year. Employers of all sizes and in all industries are encouraged to participate in NDEAM.
Challenge Enterprises has launched a social media campaign for our supporters to share with their networks and is hosting both fundraising and crowdfunding opportunities in support of our mission to promote the Power of People and Possibilities in the workforce right here in North Florida. All support of our campaigns plays an important part in fostering a more equitable and inclusive workforce, one where all people are recognized for their abilities — every day of every month.
