This prestigious recognition highlights the organization’s commitment to serving the community and improving the lives of others.
Established by Governor DeSantis in 2019, the Governor’s Faith and Community Initiative Office acknowledges and expresses gratitude to faith institutions and community organizations for their invaluable contributions to supporting vulnerable populations throughout Florida. Erik Dellenback, the Governor’s Liaison for Faith and Community, conveyed deep gratitude on behalf of Governor DeSantis and the initiative’s objectives.
As part of this recognition, Challenge Enterprises received the official pin of the Governor’s Faith and Community Based Initiative. This pin, to be worn with pride, symbolizes the organization’s distinction and signifies the importance placed on Faith and Community Organizations in Florida. Notably, only 16 other states have similar initiatives in place. Additionally, Challenge Enterprises was presented with a recognition certificate as a token of gratitude for their exceptional service to Florida’s vulnerable populations.
