Challenge Enterprises Awarded Judges Choice at Celebrate Clay
The Paul E. and Klare N. Reinhold Foundation, Inc. held its annual Celebrate Clay community service awards ceremony live online on April 27, 2021.  Celebrate Clay is an initiative of The Paul E. & Klare N. Reinhold Foundation, Inc. to recognize, reward and encourage community service within Clay County.

Convinced that individual and civic involvement makes a critical difference in the quality of life in Clay County, Celebrate Clay recognizes the many organizations and individuals that make Clay County a special place.

A panel of five judges had the difficult task of awarding 47 community service awards to nonprofit organizations that provide services to Clay County residents. A total of $100,000 was awarded and Challenge Enterprises won one of the two Judges’ Choice Awards of $7,000.

2020 provided additional opportunities for Challenge Enterprises to demonstrate the valuable abilities of the population of unsung essential workers eager to be of service. Our sewing team produced thousands of masks for the community, including  N-95 for EMTs. The newly developed Tiger Team provided special COVID sanitizing services to over 100 federal government sites.  Challenge Enterprises used CARES Act Grant funds to purchase a commercial walk-in freezer and cooler, as well as a mobile refrigeration unit to assist local Clay County food pantries with food distribution logistics and storage.

Thank you to The Paul E. and Klare N. Reinhold Foundation, Inc for recognizing Challenge Enterprises’ response to the needs of our community during 2020.
