A Visit to Kings Bay: Supporting Our Submarine Community

The Kings Bay job site, where the dedication and hard work of the Shipboard Logistic Team led by Project Manager Charles Slocumb are truly making a difference. The photos captured during a visit encapsulate the spirit of teamwork and commitment to excellence that defines our operations at Challenge Enterprises.

Greg Voss, COO of Challenge Enterprises, expressed his admiration for the incredible work being done by everyone involved. Indeed, since being awarded the government contract in 2021 as part of the SourceAmerica AbilityOne program, our team has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence.

Since the contract’s inception, the Shipboard Logistic Team has played a vital role in receiving, stowing, and distributing food provisions at the Food Provisions Warehouse on base. With responsibility for loading approximately 9000 cases of food per month into module storage containers, our team’s efforts directly contribute to supporting the crews of the submarines stationed at Kings Bay.

Our presence at the Kings Bay Food Provision Warehouse has not gone unnoticed. We have earned a reputation for reliability and efficiency, both within the warehouse and among the military personnel we serve.

As we reflect on the visit to Kings Bay, we are reminded of the importance of our work and the impact it has on our submarine community. We are proud to play a role in supporting those who serve and protect our nation, and we remain committed to upholding the highest standards of service and professionalism.

Standing shoulder to shoulder, our team embodies unity and purpose as we work together to fulfill our mission.
